Between 2007-2008, the revised US Standard birth certificate was introduced statewide by the Division for Vital Records & Health Statistics. Due to the revisions, variables related to complications of labor or delivery, maternal or medical risk factors, abnormal conditions and methods of delivery may not be directly comparible to, or aggregated as, data collected in previous years. This data will not be released until studies of quality and comparablity have been completed.. Birth characteristcs for 2006 are provided below
