Commission on Services to the Aging to Meet on Friday
Michigan Office of Services the Aging Director Lynn Alexander today announced that the Commission on Services to the Aging will meet on Friday, July 16, 1999 in Lansing at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Michigan Library and Historical Museum in the Lake Huron Room.
"All individuals are welcome to attend the Commission on Services to the Aging meeting," said Alexander. "Public input is always welcome as the Commission advocates on behalf of Michigans senior residents."
The Michigan Commission on Services to the Aging is Appointed by the Governor and acts as advocates for Michigan residents age 60 and older. The Commission also reviews and approves grants administered by the Office of Services to the Aging and the formulates recommendations in federal and state programs, statutes and policies.
