Department of Community Health Announces HIV Test Day
"Early detection of HIV is vital in our fight against AIDS," said Haveman. "We are proud to have 50 agencies in Michigan participating in National HIV Testing Day and encourage people at risk for HIV to be tested." Tests can be done on an anonymous or confidential basis. An oral test will be used at each testing site. Needles are not used with the oral test and the test is as accurate as blood tests.
